Essence: Modern South Indian Vernacular House
Highlights: Laterite Walls, Chettinad Columns, Large open space connecting all rooms
Story: The residence is inspired from the rich tradition of south Indian homes with a central stepped courtyard or a Thotti Mane. Adorned with Chettinad wooden columns and handmade Athangudi tiles, the characteristic of living area gives a vernacular impression. Laterite stone walls, reused glass bottle wall, glazed mangalore tile roof are some of the other key features. The residence is being extensively used as a backdrop for multiple TV series, and other shoots.
